If you're looking for a baseball statistic book that goes beyond the normal lists of statistic after statistic, then this book is for you!
Yes, the typical prerequisite list of statistics are here. It is an updated list of baseball records, after all. However, this book goes beyond that, with stories behind the records and near-records.
Along with the stories, there are timelines of records and other statistics.
There are stories concerning historic moments of the game.
This volume contains many need-to-know statistics, scores, and strikeouts every diehard baseball fan should know, if they don't already.

Rand McNally Large Scale Road Atlas (Rand McNally Large Scale Road Atlas U. S. A.) review
Posted : 12 years, 12 months ago on 6 February 2012 02:02 (A review of Rand McNally Large Scale Road Atlas (Rand McNally Large Scale Road Atlas U. S. A.))As a "lover" of Rand McNally maps, I try to collect at least one of them every year. Therefore, I naturally want up a copy of Rand McNally '05 The Road Atlas. However, even though I am only 34, my vision isn't as good as it used to be. Therefore, I need a larger version of the atlas. I used to use a magnifying glass, but sometimes, it was difficult to hold it while simultaneously doing research on highways, as I "love" to do.
The Large Scale version of the Road Atlas is different from other variations of the Road Atlas in that instead of making the maps bigger with less detail, the maps are actually larger, but with ALL THE DETAIL PRESERVED! For someone like me -- who "loves" looking at road maps, this is a huge advantage over other atlases -- Rand McNally or not.
I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who likes maps, but has vision problems.

Star Trek: Generations review
Posted : 13 years ago on 29 January 2012 02:06 (A review of Star Trek: Generations)โStar Trek: Generations is the last Star Trek film with any of the original series cast and the first one with The Next Generation cast.
It features the launch of USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-B), the introduction of the Nexus energy ribbon, the destruction of USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), and the death of Captain James T. Kirk.
The film ties in the "jokery" of the TOS era and the action and excitement of the TNG era.
If you like Star Trek, then this film is for you!
